I used to watch football matches here regularly and enjoyed it. Then I found that one of Louth's most notorious characters is closely associated with the place.
Won't be returning, wouldn't feel safe.

Sharon and the team - Thank you so much for making a difficult day so much easier. Your kindness and compassion were overwhelming. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We felt so well looked after, and it was the perfect send-off for my mum. We can't recommend you highly enough for events, food or just a casual drink in the bar or beer garden. Thank you!

only stopped for food. Staff were polite and friendly. Had to remind them to bring drinks. Brekkie was spoilt by the delivery of BBQ sauce instead of Brown sauce but otherwise ok.

Working in the local area and staying in Louth but not at the king's head , so can't comment on the rooms as not stayed here, but the food is great, home cooked and much better than ping meals elsewhere. Reasonably priced beer.

Good hotel in Louth Town centre. Rooms clean and ok. Comfy bed. Be warned, we stayed on a Saturday night. Don't expect to get any sleep before midnight as a band was playing in the bar and was very loud.
Good cooked breakfast.

We went on Saturday evening . The food was absolutely gorgeous. Three of us had the Steak and Ale pie . It’s was delicious and probably by far the best we have ever tasted. Along with the mixed grill . I must also recommend the service from Sarah was brilliant. Very helpful , quick and nothing was too much trouble . She made our night even more lovely and will definitely be returning again , Thankyou
